Mobile Fridge Trailer for Sale
A fridge trailer is a mobile, insulated trailer equipped with an independent refrigeration system; it can be towed by a standard vehicle or hauled by a tractor unit for long-distance transport. Capable of maintaining a constant temperature, it is used to transport and temporarily store temperature-sensitive goods—such as fresh produce, frozen foods, flowers, vaccines, and dairy products—serving the dual purpose of a transport vehicle and a mobile cold storage unit.
Features of Fridge Trailer
Thickened Insulated Body
The body features a seamless, integrated structure made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) sandwiching high-density insulation foam, minimizing cold air loss. The interior walls are made of smooth, food-grade material that is waterproof, dirt-resistant, and easy to wash down. Multi-layer sealing gaskets on the doors effectively lock in cold air.
Independent Refrigeration Unit
Equipped with a dedicated diesel refrigeration unit, it operates independently of the towing vehicle's power. It supports three power modes: diesel-powered cooling during transit, external mains power when parked, and generator power for remote locations. It features automatic defrosting and ensures precise, stable temperature control.
Uniform Cooling Throughout
The trailer features a T-shaped ventilated floor that ensures unobstructed cold air circulation, preventing localized temperature spikes in the cargo. Optional thermal partitions allow the interior to be divided into separate temperature zones for the organized storage of different types of goods.
Versatile Applications and High Mobility
Lightweight trailers are ideal for event catering, farm operations, and short-haul deliveries, while heavy-duty semi-trailers are suited for long-haul, inter-regional cold chain logistics. They are ready for immediate use upon arrival, eliminating the need to construct permanent cold storage facilities.
